Day four, 9/6/11: hill sprints up Hay Street in Oriental bay. It's a damn steep hill. Three times up, with a couple of kilometres at either end.
Day five, 10/6/11: pace run, 8k. Supposed to be at marathon pace (4:55) but averaged something more like half-marathon pace (4:40 or so). Felt good though, legs fine, and breathing in-2-3 out out-2-3 all the way.
Next run is the first longish slow run on Sunday - longish as it's only 16k. Today's run was supposed to be tomorrow but I can really only do one run a weekend with kids to look after, and I don't mind having a break the day before Sunday's run.
